Whitko gridders seek season’s first win

September 5, 2013

SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko’s football team hopes to get the first win of 2013 Friday.

To do so, the Wildcats will have to defeat a Three Rivers Conference rival on the road.

Whitko travels to Southwood Friday at 7 p.m. The Knights are 1-1 on the year, having opened with a win over Southern Wells and then losing to Oak Hill last week.

The Wildcats will be playing their third consecutive road game. Whitko opened with a loss at Wawasee and then dropped a 34-14 game at Columbia City last week.
