Whitko netters drop contest to Westview

TOPEKA — Whitko’s boys tennis team lost a tough road contest to Westview Wednesday.

The Wildcats lost to the Warriors 4-1.

Picking up the lone win for Whitko was Tyler Baugher at No. 1 singles, who beat his Westview foe 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.

In other singles action, Blake Castle and Cole Bechtold lost for the Wildcats in No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.

Castle pushed his foe to three sets while Bechtold fell in two.
