Whitko netters fall in 3-2 match

SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko’s tennis team dropped a close 3-2 match to Wawasee Tuesday night.

The Wildcats picked up wins in No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but dropped No. 3 singles and both doubles matches in the loss.

In No. 2 singles, Whitko’s Blake Castle won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
Tyler Baugher took a 6-3, 6-3 win in No. 1 singles.

Despite a three-set battle in No. 3 singles, Cole Bechtold fell short, 5-7, 7-5, 4-6.
