Whitko students applauded for school success

May 27, 2013

PIERCETON — Whitko Community School Corporation recently recognized those students named as Student of the Month for May at the May school board meeting.

Each student received a certificate to commemorate their achievement.

Pierceton Elementary School — Seth Russell

Seth Russell is a second grader at Pierceton Elementary School and was nominated by Heather Fox.

In nominating Russell, Fox said, "He is a student who has worked really hard in class. He is always ready when directions are given, he is very organized, and he has a much better attitude about school and the work that we do in class.

“This week during our morning meeting time he said that the best thing about second grade is reading. I am very proud of him."
