Whitko wins last regular season game

Whitko’s baseball team picked up a win in its final regular season game of the season Monday.

The Wildcats downed Bethany Christian 13-6 to make their record 19-9 going into sectional action Friday.

Whitko jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning. Bethany Christian didn’t get on the scoreboard until the second, scoring one run.

The opponents took an 8-6 lead after scoring six runs in the third frame and another in the fourth.

Whitko rallied to score seven runs between the fifth and sixth innings to take a 13-8 advantage.
