COLLEGIATE SUCCESS: Whitley Co. students applauded

WHITLEY COUNTY — Several area college students have been recognized for their academic success.

Indiana State University recently announced its dean’s list for the 2014 spring semester.
Benjamin Wilcox, of Columbia City, was recognized for academic achievement.To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Manchester University

Area students who made the spring 2014 dean’s list at Manchester University in North Manchester Ind. include:
Alaina M. Becknew, of Columbia City, a first year communication studies major.
Adriana E. Brown, of Columbia City, a first year adapted physical education major.
Chelsie M. Fisher, of Columbia City, a sophomore educational studies major.
Keith B. Kline, of Columbia City, a senior accounting and economics major.
Aakash K. Patel, of Columbia City, a sophomore biology-chemistry major.
Mallory J. Sims, of Columbia City, a senior biology-chemistry major.

Joshua Michael, son of Scott and Tara Michael of Columbia City, recently graduated from Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law.
