Wildcats fall to Manchester, 13-10

September 7, 2012

NORTH MANCHESTER — Friday night was a soaking, muddy scuffle for Whitko’s football team as it fought hard against the Manchester Squires, falling just short of a victory with a final score of 13-10.

It was a somber moment, as the clock ran out and the boys sat in their half crescent around Head Coach Swender. “Boys,” he said, “we have two choices: We can go down, or come Monday, we can go back up.”

Next week, the Wildcats take on the Wabash Apaches in their homecoming game.
