WINTER NOT OVER: Small taste of spring to be squelched by snow

March 11, 2014

WHITLEY COUNTY — Mother Nature teased Northeast Indiana with a taste of spring weather to start the week — sunny, 50-degree weather.
Residents will soon be reminded that winter isn’t over until March 20, as another snow system is making its way toward the region this week.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service predict 3 to 6 inches of snow to begin late tonight into Wednesday, and some other area forecasters predict as much as 6 to 8 inches.
