CHICAGO — A woman accused of fatally stabbing a high school teacher in Chicago last week traveled through Whitley County on U.S. 30.

Alisha Walker, 20, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Alan Filan, 61, a teacher at Brother Rice High School in southwest Chicago.

Walker was caught in Fort Wayne Saturday in a hotel room.
