Zickgraf in the final crunch

COLUMBIA CITY — After 19 years with Whitley County Consolidated Schools, Business Manager Tony Zickgraf is planning to retire this summer.

Zickgraf’s retirement is slated for June, and his replacement, Kirk Doehrmann, was hired at a recent school board meeting.

School board members and school officials said Zickgraf’s expertise and presence will be missed.

“We’ve been fortunate to have Tony for all of these years,” School Board President Don Armstrong said.
