COLUMBIA CITY — Two men who were arrested on drug charges in a traffic stop last week had their initial appearance in court Monday.
Michael Yoha and Vanness Oliver, both of Mansfield, Ohio, were arrested April 30 and charged with dealing a Schedule 1 controlled substance and possession of a narcotic.
Both men pleaded not guilty in Whitley County Circuit Court and were appointed public defenders. Yoha will be represented by Brad Voelz and Oliver by Brad Baber.
Both men will be in court June 3. Oliver was released on bail Monday.
According to case reports, the two men, along with a third, were stopped on U.S. 30 in Columbia City for an unsafe lane change and failure to signal a lane change.
