CHURUBUSCO — Indiana is a great place to do business.
That was the message from Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann at the Whitley County EDC annual meeting at C&A Tool Thursday.
While Ellspermann pointed out that being part of Gov. Mike Pence’s administration was about economic development, she was quick to tout the efforts of the previous administration.
“We are building off of eight great years with Mitch Daniels,” she said of the former governor’s administration.
Ellspermann pointed out plans that the Pence administration has for the state. These include encouraging entrepreneurs to start their own business. Work is also needed among employees in the state.
“With all of the good economic development, we need workforce,” she said. “We need to find someone to do the job.”
