CHURUBUSCO — Under the category of Work and Education, Cullen Fisher’s Facebook profile includes the U.S. Army.
Fisher, a junior at Churubusco Junior-Senior High School, is a part of the military’s delayed-entry program.
At age 17, Fisher began the necessary steps to start his military career. Now, at age 18, he is participating in regular physical training (P.T.) exercises in Fort Wayne.
“My summer is going to be spent doing a lot of physical activity,” Fisher said. “Between P.T. and weight training for football, I am going to be pushing my body.”
In addition to his military training, when Fisher starts his senior year in the fall, he plans to play football again as well as continue his participation in show choir and theater.
