SOUTH WHITLEY — Whitko’s boys baseball team took out its frustration from dropping a double header to Norwell Saturday by pounding Bethany Christian Monday night.
The Wildcats handed their opponents a 12-2 loss.
Bethany Christian took a 2-0 advantage in the first two innings, but Whitko fired back in the second, third and fourth frames to combine for 12 runs, ending the game in the fifth inning.
Whitko began its tear when Trey Weber batted in Hunter Sroufe.
Weber hit 2-for-3, with three RBIs, two runs and two stolen bases.
