COLUMBIA CITY — With the ever-changing technology, social media sites and smart phone apps, parents are finding it hard to stay smarter than the smart phone.
While all parents want to trust their children, Columbia City Police Detective Chip Stephenson said its the parents’ job to protect kids from the social media world.
“Kids are kids. They don’t have all of the knowledge we do,” Stephenson said. “It’s not that we don’t trust our kids. With all of the information out there, we just need to help them.”
