CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco Public Library has released it’s schedule of October events.
Library hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Sundays.
CPL is located at 116 N. Mulberry St., Churubusco. Visit the library’s website at www.buscolibrary.org for more information.
During the month of Octorber, the library will be having a Fall Coloring Contest for children ages 12 and under. Coloring pages are available to pick up at the library and must be returned by Saturday, Oct. 26 in order to be eligible to win.
The contest will not be judged based on skill — instead, children who complete the contest will have their names entered into a drawing.
Three fall prizes will be given away based on age group: 4 and under, 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. However, there will be an additional prize for the most creative page.
Entries will be displayed throughout the library until the end of the month for patrons to see.
Only one entry allowed per child. The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. Satruday, Oct. 26.
•Teen Read Week: Join thousands of teens around the nation to celebrate Teen Read Week Sunday, Oct. 13 to Saturday, Oct. 19. This year’s theme is “Seek the Unknown at Your Library,” which encourages teens to read for the fun of it.
