CHURUBUSCO — Although summer festivals and park activities have come to an end, work at the Churubusco Town Park is ongoing.
At Wednesday’s Town Council meeting, Park Superintendent Rick Krider submitted a report that spelled out the areas of focus he has for the park.
“There’s always something that needs to be done,” Krider said in an interview.
“Yes, the weather changes, but that just means we work on other things.”
One project Krider has been battling is the park’s soccer field. Where there should be lush, full grass and even ground, patches of dirt and lumps of grass have given Krider cause to reseed the area.
Previously, Greg Salesman, of Churubusco, was to complete the work, but Krider reported to the council that Salesman repeatedly pushed the timeline back.
