COLUMBIA CITY — While Sunday’s snowfall put a damper on travel plans and put Whitley County into a state of emergency, some are electing to make the best of their time at home.
Many Whitley County residents say they’re taking the opportunity to spend quality time with family.
On the other hand, many businesses and factories were forced to close Monday due to an official travel warning and Level I State of Emergency, issued by government officials Sunday night, and extended through Tuesday at 5 p.m.
