COLUMBIA CITY — A financial set back has only rallied the members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) at Lodge #1906, Columbia City.
In less than a year, the group who had no funds to pay for its building insurance and to maintain the lodge’s operations, has sold the old property, reorganized its leadership and remodeled a former vehicle repair shop for its new location.
“It’s great what they have done. The turnaround is remarkable,” said Mike Cummings, an Aerie agent with the state Grand Aerie organization.
In April of 2013, Cummings was present at a meeting of both Aerie and Auxilary members.
