COLUMBIA CITY — Whitley County Consolidated School Corporation is now facing a $600,000 annual bill for severance bonds.
In 2006, the district’s health insurance contract covered 90 percent of a teacher’s medical costs through the age of 65.
Beyond that, the district assumes 100% liability on retirement.
