David E. “Popeye” Stier, 28

David E. “Popeye” Stier, 28, of Paulding, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Henry County Hospital as the result of a traffic accident.

Born in Phoenix, Ariz., he was a member of White Tiger Martial Arts.

Surviving are his son, Sean A. Stier; father, Ronald R. Stier of Harlan; sisters, Rozlyne (Corey) Kling of Mishawaka, Amanda (Jose) Torrez and Stephanie (Trent) Bodie, both of Fort Wayne; grandmother, Donna L. Stier of New Haven; and grandfather, Larry Bradtmiller.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Stier; grandfather, Jerry Stier; and grandmother, Maxine Bradtmiller.

Funeral service is 3 p.m. Friday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at the funeral home.
