Bickle helped the Columbia City Eagles baseball team defeat the DeKalb Barons 5-1 Thursday night at Carroll High School in the first round of sectional play.

Bickle, the tall, hard-throwing right-hander, fanned 10 Baron batters in a complete game, his fourth outing of the year with double-digit strikeouts.
