Higher academic achievement

Working to give students a better learning environment, WCSC is looking to adopt an education concept known as 1-to-1 technology. This learning model incorporates traditional teaching tactics with new technology that can individualize and expand a student’s education. It also allows for teachers to quickly access data from the classroom to efficiently assess the entire class’s or one particular student’s progress. Clason mentioned that other expansions will be taking place in areas such as the arts.“We will be opening up more opportunities in the fine arts such as drama and music. We will also look at the practical arts such as the Ag program,” Clason said. “Foreign languages are another area we will look to expand and we will continue to add more dual-credit offerings.”
