LWC and Passages, Inc. are hosting fundraiser event

Local nonprofit organizations, Leadership Whitley County (LWC) and Passages, Inc., are partnering to host a fundraising event featuring motivational speaker, Billy Riggs.
Riggs was voted One of America’s Top Five most Entertaining Speakers in 2014. Billy uses a combination of magical illusions and leadership lessons to grip audiences, move them to action, improve attitudes and change lives. Billy has worked with Fortune 500 Companies such as: General Mills, IBM, Kroger, Pillsbury, Wells Fargo and more.
Billy will discuss “How to Become a Born Leader” and will cover the six stages of leadership, as well as the tricks of finding and maintaining a balance in life.
Riggs will discuss six focus areas including stress reduction, internalizing dreams to make it reflect a person’s whole life, the importance of nurturing relationships to add satisfaction to life, character, purpose and achievement. To learn more about Billy Riggs visit www.billyriggs.com.
“It doesn’t matter how seasoned of a leader you are to join us at this event,” said LWC Director Carrie Meyer, “It’s perfect for executives, managers and emerging leaders.”
The event will take place Wednesday, March 23 in the Bob Brittian Auditorium at Peabody Public Library in Columbia City from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
