The East Van Buren Street (Ind. 205) entrance to the community will take a decidedly different look by summer with an array of aesthetic improvements – including a new electronic messaging sign at the entrance to Morsches Park.

Columbia City’s Rotary Club, which will be celebrating its 100th anniversary as a chartered organization in 2019, has quietly taken the lead on the project during the past year, raising more than one-third of the cost of the $35,000 sign via membership pledges and other avenues.

Complete details about this news and other improvements to the East Van Buren Street entryway into Downtown Columbia City are in Friday's edition of your Post & Mail, available at newsstands and convenience stores throughout Whitley County.
