Columbia City UMSunday at Columbia City United Methodist Church, the message title is “Choose Life.” The Scripture is from Deuteronomy 30:15-20 and Matthew 5:21-37. The February Mission Project of the Month is Habitat for Humanity. In Whitley County, this group has completed four houses within the last seven months. The Columbia City United Methodist Church Lent Study will begin March 2 through April 19, and the book to be studied will be Adam Hamilton’s 24 Hours That Changed the World. Columbia City United Methodist Church is located at 605 N. Forest Parkway. These casseroles will be given to shut-ins, friends, or neighbors who may be in need of a ready-made meal.The church will be holding its annual Shrove Tuesday Tenderloin Fry Tuesday March 4 in the Parish Hall from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinner is an all-you-can-eat ternderloin meal that includes salad, dessert and beverage. The New Wine service will be held at 11 a.m. Small groups and coffee fellowship are held between these services. Etna Rd, Columbia City. Two classes will be offered — Wednesday 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday 6:30 to 8 p.m. beginning March 5.
