VETERANS MARATHON: Brisk morning in store for runners

Veterans Marathon participants and spectators at Saturday's 8 a.m. starting line in Downtown Columbia City will be greeted by a temperature of just 24 degrees and a 6 mph breeze from the southeast.

The temperature won't hit freezing until noon as winds increase slightly during the late morning. 1 p.m. temperature is predicted to be 34 degrees.

Sunrise will be 7:25 a.m. Saturday.
