COLUMBIA CITY – On Tuesday, June 28, the public is invited to see the Schematic Design for the new Columbia City High School.
Beginning at 6 p.m., attendees are asked to gather in the Columbia City High School Auditorium for a brief presentation and first look at the preliminary drawings of the new buildings and grounds.
The Schematic Design is the first stage of the $77.7 million high school project, scheduled for groundbreaking in 2017 and completion by August 2020.
The Schematic Design defines the general direction of the school design and overall scope of the building and the site.
It will include the size, location and adjacencies for all building spaces as well as site development features.
Architects from Fanning Howey Associates will be on hand to present information about the layout within the building as well as the overall site plan.
Those present will have an opportunity to ask questions as well.
