Twenty-seven trees, decorated by multiple local businesses and organizations greet visitors to The Clugston in downtown Columbia City. Downtown was busy Friday, Nov. 25 with the start of the holiday season ushered in by the annual Lighted Christmas parade and the start of the Walk of Trees event. The Walk of Trees is put on by Columbia City Connect. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets to vote on their favorite trees with a chance to win one for themselves. The Walk of Trees will also be open Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
